Tanksgiving Tournament #2! (Canadian Edition)

10 October marks Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, what better way to celebrate than having a tournament over the long weekend. A few last minute drops left us at ten players, but it's all we needed to have a great time at Perkins Hobbies in Petawawa.

Nyet This Time!

There's nothing like blowing up Russian tanks on a weekend. This past Sunday, we had a great but quick game of Flames of War. We rolled up 'Hasty Attack', and taking the opportunity to teach a new player the ropes, Patrick and I took my Schwere Panzerjagerkompanie list from 'Fortress Italy' and battled it out against 30 Soviet tanks!!

I've had a few tanks lying around and have not been painting very much lately. I decided to break out the airbrush and some Pzr IV/70 tank destroyers that came in one of my German army boxes. We'll look at the tank and how it's represented in FoW.

Welcome to the aftermath that was 'May Madness', it was an all armored event held this past weekend at FdB, a well stocked gaming store just a little over 10 minutes from downtown Ottawa. A smaller crowd of seven people showed to play in this event, adding myself to even things out....eight players total to take part in something a little different. Some players don't want to try anything outside the normal points or format. They missed out!!

Got some new models painted up.  Have 3 more IS-2s to do if I have the desire to run the Guards Heavy List.  After that some T-70s, Su-85s and maybe some Heavy Assault Guns.  Su-100s or ISU-122s?

The Escalation Escalates - 26. Panzer-Division Support

I am very happy to have completed a large portion of my support options for my Mid-War Fallshirmjager Company.  I am holding off on gluing on the aerials until I figure a way to transport them so that they don't bend/break...
