You've Got a Lot of Guts Coming Here! Star Wars Legion (Rebel)

He's BACK!! Han Solo has been announced as a Commander for Fantasy Flight's game Star Wars Legion. This game is growing as fast as X-Wing and is every bit as much fun. The rules are getting a lot of attention as of late. There is an online PDF I recommend you download from Fantasy Flight, it will serve you better as a reference to go along with your rulebook.

Getting back into something dice related has been on the radar for me for some time. Team Yankee and Flames of War have taken a bit of a back seat with our gaming group for the past year or so. Other than major tournaments and the odd game with Dennis, I haven't had modern or WW2 armor on the table for a while. It's time, so let's punch it!!

Charlie Don't Surf!!

Charlie might not surf, but there are some of us who do!! Summer is in full swing and there has been a lull in the battle. Us here at DiceDevils continue to try and get as much independent and relevant content for all things gaming.  I'm here to update you on the current situation of the Dice Devils. Topics will include games of course, who's playing what. I'll also be taking you through the future and what is coming up in the short term as far as events and such!

Getting The Most Out Of (New) Sci-Fi Gaming

With the flick of a switch, a turn of the page or a roll of the dice. Sci-Fi gaming presents itself a way to get into something far different than the regular gaming experience. Video games, board games and table top miniature wargaming offer that escape to another world and a different genre of fun.

As we get ready to take on another year, I can't help but think of what's to come in 2016. More Flames of War, we'll also be playing a load of other games in the coming year! X-Wing, Beyond the Gates of Antares, Team Yankee and some more Napoleonics! We plan a relaunch of our gaming podcast and more frequent updates. We hope you'll make the journey with us!

Friday Night Xwing (Co-op)

So with a night to try and roll some dice, while playing the same game. Five of us took on the Empire in an attempt to disable a shuttle and capture an Imperial Officer. It's all part of a Co-operative campaign called 'Heroes of the Aturi Cluster'. It's becoming very popular, and the two best parts are that it's free and it's designed by Canadians. You can download it at DockingBay14 Campaign It plays with the X-Wing Miniatures game by Fantasy Flight Games.

Same Time, Same...Space?

With so much going on the last few months, it's been near impossible to get any gaming done and the other major contributor to the DD blog has been busy getting ready to move house! Needless to say, sometimes life really does make it tough to play some games. In my case, I've been busy with a new boat, a new tree fort and generally being busy at work!

It's the 6th of June today, so with this update. We remember D-Day, the day in history where those brave men hit various beaches in France to put an end to the madness that enveloped the world.

A "small" diversion...

BATTLTECH! This was my first miniature game. As I mentioned in my last post, Battletech holds a dear place in my hobby heart. I remember do...
